SOS program for half independent living
After turning 18years in acquiring high school education, young people moves in the next phase of SOS model of care, called Program of half independent living.
This program primary goal is to provide some sort of transition to full independent live, through:
- Financial and psycho - pedagogical support throughout the studies
Support in finding regular job
Support in finding and creating appropriate place to live
- Support in process of taking control and responsibility of their own lives
The main goal of this program is to help the young people to solve their housing trough counseling and financial support.
In this phase of independence, as the third phase of care for children without parental care, SOS Children Village helps young people to find stable jobs which will provide stability and security and will prepare them for independent live in their own home.
